Founded in 2023 by Mexican filmmaker Isaac Ballesteros Barba, A2 CREATIVE is a film production company that focuses on all genres, showcasing the complexity of the human nature through independent, auteur-driven storytelling, prioritizing creative freedom and original narratives.

iSAAC BALLESTEROS BARBA

Isaac Ballesteros Barba is a Mexican filmmaker born in Merida, Yucatan, in Mexico where he developed his unique writing style and focused on character driven stories, currently based in Mesa, Arizona. He is an award-winning screenwriter with over 350 official selections (Including; award winner, finalist, semi-finalist status) in over 20 countries across the world.

His directorial debut, Write it Down (2026) explores the themes of obsession, fear, and success on character driven stories that have shaped his way of understanding the world and building A2 is his way to express it and how he has created his.

In addition, his writing has placed on festivals such as Nashville Film Festival in 2020, finalist at Flickers Rhode Island International film Festival in 2023, and the 30th Annual Fade In Award Drama Competition in 2022. He has written four books in Spanish which can be found on Amazon Kindle. He has experience as a film critic, film judge, columnist, and social media manager with most notable being reader for the Austin Film Festival during 2024 and 2024.

Currently, Isaac is in pre production of his short film Shooting Stills, scheduled for late June of 2026 as his feature film film Write it Down (2026) runs by the festival circuit.
