A2 Creative was founded in 2023 and is the film and television production vehicle of acclaimed film director Isaac Ballesteros Barba, showcasing the complexity of human nature through independent, auteur-driven storytelling, that prioritizes creative freedom and original narratives. The company is responsible for films – including WRITE IT DOWN (2026), NUCLEAR BEAUTY (2025), SEROTONIN NIGHTS (2023), THE METHOD (2023) & RUNNING LINES (2023).

iSAaC BALLESTEROS BARBA

Isaac Ballesteros Barba is a Mexican filmmaker born in Merida, Yucatan, in Mexico where he developed his unique writing style and focused on character-driven stories, currently based in Mesa, Arizona. He is an award-winning screenwriter with over 350 official selections (Including; award winner, finalist, and semi-finalist status) in over 20 countries across the world.

His directorial debut, Write it Down (2026) explores the themes of obsession, fear, and success in character-driven stories that have shaped his way of understanding the world and building A2 is his way to express it and how he has created it.

In addition, his writing has been placed at festivals such as the Nashville Film Festival in 2020, as a finalist at the Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival in 2023, and the 30th Annual Fade In Award Drama Competition in 2022. He has written four books in Spanish, available on Amazon Kindle. He has experience as a film critic, film judge, columnist, and social media manager with the most notable being a reader for the Austin Film Festival during 2023 and 2024.

Upcoming A2 Creative films include the short film Stills, scheduled for late November of 2026, as his feature film Write it Down (2026) runs on the festival circuit.
